EAMCET & ICET 2010 Counselling For Non Eamcet/Icet Minority Candidatess
Minority Candidates who have not qualified or not appeared for Eamcet/Icet 2010 are informed to submit an application on plain paper containing details like name , sex, minority, qualification,contact phone number, xerox copies of SSC, inter and qualifing Degree etc along with DD of Rs 250 in favour of convener to consider for the left over seats if any after exhausting all Eamcet/Icet Qualified minority candidates.

78th Convocation Osmania Univeristy,Hyderabad
The 78th Annual Convocation of Osmania University will be held on Tuesday, 17th
August 2010, at Tagore Auditorium for the conferment of Degrees on the successful candidates in
the Examination conducted from July, 2006 to June, 2009.
The Hon’ble Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Chancellor of the University
will preside over the Convocation. Prof. Sukhadeo Thorat, Chairman, University Grant
Commission, New Delhi, has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest and will deliver the
Convocation Address.
If there are any corrections, omissions or objections in their certificates, thecandidates
should bring the same to the notice of the Controller of Examinations, Osmania University, in
writing on or before 10th August, 2010. Thereafter the Controller of Examinations is not
responsible for any such mistakes of omission or commission.

COUNSELLING DATES FOR ICET,EAMCET
begin on August 19.
Talking to media persons, Prof. Reddy said thecounselling, which was scheduled to begin on July 19, was postponed due to some unavoidable circumstances.
The professor said that the going might get tough for ICET students since more than 1,50,000 studentshave cleared the qualifying examinations.
The Council chairman said the counselling forengineering students who had cleared the Eamcet will be held on August 29.
The Eamcet counselling was delayed due to allotment of ranks tocandidates and sanction of a large number of colleges by AICTE despite the state government sending signals against it.
The officials, who expected less than 10,000 seats to be added this year, were surprised that the AICTE gave the nod for the addition of nearly 30,000 more seats by giving permission to new colleges and increasing the intake in the existing institutions.
